FLORENCE DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION TEAM WELCOMES YOU
We work together with our community partners to keep Florence vibrant and alive, making the community we love an enjoyable destination for both locals and visitors alike.
WHO WE ARE
Our purpose is to coordinate and promote marketing, visual improvements, and business development for Historic Florence.
Some of our top priorities include:
Creating awareness of available resources for business owners, such as training and grants.
Engage local businesses and organizations to develop activities for families and youth.
Develop community support and ownership of the ReVision Florence project.
Create, enhance, and maximize the usage of public parks and open spaces.
Champion economic vitality and business development.
OUR MAIN STREET DISTRICT
The Florence Downtown Revitalization Team works with businesses and property owners within our designated main street district, which is the same as the Florence Urban Renewal Agency (FURA) boundaries.
OUR PROJECTS
Some of our past projects include the Florence banners currently installed on the utility poles along HWY 101 and through Bay Street, and the flower baskets hanging from the historic lamp posts throughout Florence.
In 2017, we applied for and received a Downtown Revitalization Grant of $27,000 for the the Waterfront Depot on Bay Street.
